charmed by the central stay
comfortable bed safe parking
the bed was indeed comfortable! the room was quite fancy, a real treat. i appreciated the safe parking spot, it brought peace of mind. the mountain view was a bonus, i enjoyed that so much.
The bathroom window provided little privacy. I would appreciate blinds.

the waterfront is within walking distance. its central location made exploring convenient. i was close to cape town central, with access to various attractions and amenities, made travel stress-free.

excellent service friendly staff lovely interior great food
The breakfast preparation was amazing! the eggs benedict were excellent. the service was fast. the staff were helpful. The gentleman maintaining the paintwork was friendly. i found the interior lovely. the cafe on the premises provided great food and friendly service. I found it valuable.
The pumps are noisy. You hear your own and those of nearby rooms. they warned me about this, though it was disruptive.

The hotel is near amenities. supermarkets are nearby. access to the hotel after 7 pm requires a detour around the back. This is not ideal though.

mixed experience with some issues
constant noise slow responses
the noise was a real problem i could hear some kind of electric pump vibrating through the walls it was like a phone buzzing constantly above my head there wasn't any information about services like laundry or the gym in the room i had to ask at reception the staff responses were slow sometimes it made things more difficult

the room had a copper tub this added a touch of elegance the breakfast was made to order the service was very attentive i enjoyed the high standard of the coffee in the morning it was really good.
the gate closes early i needed to use the back door at night

loud pump system bathroom flooding
the location was acceptable, a short walk to attractions, i suppose.
The room's plumbing created a disturbance. The pump system was very loud. i could hear not just my own pump, but also those of adjacent rooms when someone flushed or showered. sometimes our shower pump didn't activate at all, that led to flooding in the bathroom.
